Match Report 2.div in Holstebro

Second Division Rugby can unfortunately neither compete with half naked drunken crowds in Aalborg (aka Carnival) nor with exams in various forms, yet, which led to a game day in Holstebro with only 30ish players attending last Saturday.

Nevertheless, miraculous Rugby skills were unleashed as a team of “Østjyllands Finest” got up early and travelled to the infamous Holstebronx to meet the unbeaten Vikings.

With brilliant sunshine and good mood a 13-a-side game was kicked off which offered the whole Rugby action to the masses that had gathered. The game had everything; rucking, bone rattling tackles, missed conversions from 15m out, and nice team tries as well as grand break-away tries.

In sum, a nice and really hard 2^nd Division game which the Vikings in the end won.

Player of the day for the Misfits was the Italian Stallion who played #13 in Beast-mode throughout the entire game! Congratulations, it is well deserved.

Thanks to referee Jens, Randers Raiders, Grenå Rugby Klub, and Holstebro Vikingerne for a nice day out on the pitch.
